I've had the opportunity to work with the brilliant team of designers and artists at the Creative Services headquarters in Hong Kong. Every thematic element was design with great detail and the expectation on quality execution was even bigger. It was the most valuable experience collaborating with large specialist teams in an attempt to bring the brand to life at such a big scale.
TOONCRICKET
Live costume show adaptation, design development and execution
I lead the design and execution for ‘Toon Cricket’ a Cartoon Network IP, to be hosted at the park targeted to increase footfalls and presented as a pre-launch stand-alone promotional show. A special 40-minute choreographed script was developed around the original concept of your favourite cartoon characters playing cricket. The talent had to undergo 6 months of training and creative workshops to make it work on brand. It ran 2 shows daily for a period of 90 days and had to follow strict international brand guidelines and character bibles. Overall show arena design and greenroom layout and facilities were learning’s amongst others worth a mention.
